We have released a schedule for term 1 & part of term 2 for our scrapbooking classes.  I hope this helps to make it easier to plan your time & of course your photos.  Displays for each session will be posted on the blog prior to the class being held so please keep checking back & of course the projects will be on show in the store.

 

HOBBYSEW ECHUCA SCRAP ROOM NEWS:

Welcome to the scrap room. We have been working hard finding lots of new products for you to try and to bring you a variety of projects that we hope will inspire and to keep the creative juices flowing.

Our monthly Friday evening classes begin on Feb. 6th and our regular Thursday fortnightly sessions will follow on Feb. 12th. Samples will be on display prior to commencement of classes. Bookings are essential and can be made with staff or by phoning the store on 54826276.

 

CLASS SCHEDULE:

Feb 6th 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Christmas Layout

Think outside the square. Use non traditional colours to create a cute layout.

Feb 12th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Beach Layout

Enhance your layout with fabric and crackle medium.

Feb 26th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Be You

Tired of doing 12 x 12 all the time then try a miniature layout.

Mar 6th 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. New Friends

Instead of colour blocking we feature photo blocking.

Mar 12th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Always Believe

Spritz it up with ink and machine stitching.

Mar 26th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Summer

Be tempted with tearing and tags.

Apr 3rd 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Line up

Use paint instead of ink for stamping.

Apr 9th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Our Home

Instead of colour blocking we feature photo blocking.

Apr 23rd 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Time gone by

A nifty way of documenting many years in one layout.

May 1st 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. To be advised

 

May 7th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Kaiser layout

Red white and black…always a great combination.

May 21st 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. U are….

Create your own background paper.

June 5th ) 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Advent Calander

July 3rd ) This 2 part class will have you ready for Christmas time.

 

We will be holding special all day crops throughout the year and the dates for these will be in our next issue.

SPECIAL OFFERS:

This year we have introduced a special offer for those attending classes. 10% discount is available on all scrapbooking purchases. This offer is valid during the class time only and excludes class and kit costs.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS:

Please remember to bring along a basic kit of: scissors, ruler, pencil, paper trimmer, double sided tape, glue pen / stick. Class tools and equipment are available for use during classes.

Moda have done it again…..9 By Sanae arrived last week and Linda has been busily whipping up a quilt using  a Layer Cake.  Being the clever little patchworker that she is, Linda has come up with a second quilt pattern that is made from the leftovers & a smidge more fabric.  Great value 2 for the price of one.  Leigh is now busily stitching the binding & as soon as it is done we will give you peek.  Stay tuned…
