Pre wash fabrics in hot water. If washing red or any other unstable colours add a piece of white plain muslin to see if fabric will run.

Oops seems as though I missed last week…they just whiz past so fast these days! Linda has come up with another useful tip for quilters & sewers. Use an old film canister of mini M&M pop top container to collect your damaged pins & needles. When full, seal lid securely with tape. This will now be safe to dispose of normally and will not cause a safety hazard.

Linda brings us our first tip of the week and it is for all the quilting buffs out there.
* To clean wadding “fluff” from your cutting mat, simply scrub the mat with a slightly damp piece of scrap wadding.
