Learn from one of the best known mechanics in our industry. He has seen it all and would like to pass on his wealth of knowledge to help you maintain and get the most life out of your machine.

2 Hour Workshops
Morning Workshop – “Maintaining your Sewing Machines”
Afternoon Workshop – “Maintaining your Overlocker”

Price only $35 per workshop OR $60.00 for both workshops

No need to bring anything. Small goodie bag will be provided.

Patterns and Books at Belconnen

Did you know that Hobbysew Belconnen has patterns, books, buttons and fabric ranges from some of Australia’s most popular designers such as Anni Downs from Hatched & Patched and Lynette Anderson’s designs.

The store also carries these designers’fabric ranges & products, such as Hatched & Patched’s ’Love to Garden’ and ‘Christmas Time’ and Lynette Anderson’s ’Secret Garden’ and ‘Christmas Fun’. These cute bags are one of the projects from Lynette’s recent workshop at Hobbysew Belconnen. They are made up in two different colour selections. Ph 6253 0011 for more information.

Illawarra Quilters Meeting

Everyone had a great night on Tuesday 7^th with lots of socialising, fun and laughter. It is greatly appreciated by Hobbysew Figtree to be able to give something back to this wonderful quilters organisation, the Illawarra Quilters who continually support our community. Thanks to the staff, and former staff member Jenny Hancock, who all volunteered their help on the night.

Hobbysew Erina’s Major prize winner of their Mad March Mini Quilt competition, Elizabeth Long, incorporated a 3D look that was created from a photogragh taken of an actual tree.
